Can a multiclasses Cipher still reach Disintegrate and Amplified Wave? Wizard seems to be best left as a single class to get access to the most powerful spells. Multiclassing also looks interesting, though I am unsure what multiclass to pick. I am considering to switch to a wizard, since as said, their spells are also now available per-encounter. So how do these spells fare in PoE 2? I know that Disintegrate seems to be still very powerful, but what about Amplified Wave?Īnd what changed with regards to building up focus? I've read that the PoE 1 style tactics - take a bow like Stormcaller or a blunderbuss, and build up focus quickly with these - no longer works in PoE 2. Mind Lance was cool if a bunch of enemies stood in a row. Against a single boss enemy, Disintegrate was very effective as well. Extremely powerful, knocked down most enemies, and made it much easier to finish them off. While battling a group of enemies, my go-to power was Amplified Wave. In PoE 1, I used Stormcaller to get focus extremely quickly. I've read posts here about how much less useful the cipher has become in PoE 2, partially because now other spellcasters also get their spells refreshed after an encounter.
